Look-alike fakes are usually initiated by someone who deliberately wants to confuse others. These fakes are usually pictures of unknowns who - from a particular angle - may look a bit like some celebrity. In this case, the faker found a picture of a microbiologist named Sharon in a British skin magazine, saw that in one of the pictures she looked a bit like Goldie Hawn, and then distributed the picture around the Net deliberately misleading people by saying it actually was a picture of Goldie Hawn.
