Fake nudity exposed

"The head is clearly much too small for this body"

When you're just surfing around and clicking on some obscure links, it can
happen that you accidentally end up on websites where celebrities are showing
their meat in all kinds of fancy poses. The question is always: are these REAL
or the product of the some Paint Shop wizard? If you let your sleep because of
important questions like this, you should surf to the site of the Fake
Detective.

This altruistic American researches the sources of famous nudity, putting his
own life in danger. Like any real detective, he uses the word "cases", and up to
this moment he has solved 285 of them. A typical case goes something like this:
the good man shows the fake picture, after which he puts the real head and the
real body next to each other with a detailed explanation of how the PC-handyman
did it. Sometimes the faking is so obvious that it seems quite useless for this
Philip Marlowe to make a case of these wrongfully unclothed celebrities, but
mostly it is a real eye-opener.

Noble job

Surprisingly, it is not teenage-dream Britney Spears who causes most cases, but
the undercooled better half of the X-files duo Mulder and Scully. Poor Gillian
Anderson has already been saved 17 times by the Fake Detective. Apparently, the
aloof Gillian over-stimulates the fantasy of many do-it-yourself folks! Sandra
Bullock is also often stripped down to underwear (or less), after which our
investigator staightens things out again (10 times already). You could say that
the Fake Detective is Famous America's hero, but some don't value his noble job.
Case #6 was removed after complaints by the lawyers of the involved celebrity. A
bit of investigation by ourselves revealed that case #6 involved swimsuite
celebrity Kathy Ireland.

Censorship?

For the worried parents, it should be a relief that "The Case Files of the Fake
Detective" (the complete name of his webpage) doesn't aim to distribute or show
nudity in its most rancid form. The possibly obscene pieces are nicely covered
by badges. Censorship criteria do tend to be rather "elastic", as can be seen
with case #280. The breasts on this fake of Christina Aguilera have been
covered, while this doesn't happen with most other fakes. Reason? This star has
primarily teenager-fans, and the Fake Detective doesn't want to shock them. But
another case solved anyway, illustrated by the proud "The Fake Detective exposes
another fake!" below the picture.
